Picardy and Arc – integrating excellence with a new brand
Businesses evolve, improve, change and grow. Picardy and Arc have sat comfortably side by side for many years and through the benefits of our integrated functions we see a lot of sense in merging our identities.

Accordingly, from March 2009 we will be called Arc and will continue to offer exactly the same levels of services and facilities we’ve been delivering successfully for years.

The merger will be so seamless you won’t notice it!

Babcock Marine
Chosen as part of the consortium to build the Royal Navy’s new aircraft carriers, Babcock commissioned Arc to develop interactive training projects for staff and sub-contractors. A further challenge was to make it effective for users whose first language isn’t English.

The Big Man
British Waterways are commissioning a colossus to bridge the Forth & Clyde canal at Maryhill. Arc has been asked to produce a film illustrating this 30 metre steel giant who holds the bridge in place. It is a huge opportunity for our creative team.

Napier University
We won the contract to make a series of films, which feature the University’s new Centres of Excellence. Designed to appeal to an international audience, the films feature each centre’s latest R & D and we meet the teams leading research and working with partners to enhance services including manufacturing, health, food and drink.

Tobermory
This leading distiller commissioned Arc to develop a film, which will feature in their new visitor centre. It packages the distilling process and showcases the brand.

Scottish Leader Idents
Arc Graphics have been commissioned by SMG Commercials to post produce six idents for Scottish Leader sponsorship of Scotland Today.
Using a combination of Live Action footage and composited 3D animation, the idents show different scenes of Scottish Leader distillery workers displaying extraordinary football skills.
The style of the idents was designed to tie in with Scottish Leader's current press campaign.

Client Testimonials

ARC post production has always offered a first rate service for all of the Network television productions I have taken there. Whether using Arc's very own highly experienced staff or range of freelance VT editors recruited, we have always hit TX deadlines, within budget and to a high standard. I've always felt that the ARC team have offered a personal service, care hugely for the projects and take pride in the work that they do. The dubbing suites, complete with amazing tracklaying experts and brilliant V/O recording facilities has often been when our shows have taken shape and really come alive
NICK HOPKIN, Freelance Producer / Director - Stakeout, Hedz, Ooglies

Just a little bit of news about 'Karelian Cowgirls' you helped us to finish last year:
It is going to be at the London International Documentary Festival at the start of April, and Tampere International Short Film Festival early March.
It has already been screened at Tromso International Film Festival, London Short Film Festival and Edinburgh last summer.
It has looked and sounded fantastic in every single cinema screen we've seen it so far, and so a big thank you for all your work on it.
All the best,
Minttu

I liked the idea of a one-stop-shop. Everything we required was done in-house and we had a dedicated creative team working with us throughout a successful project, which was also a very pleasant experience.
Mark Abrami, Brand Manager - Ballantine's Finest, Chivas Brothers

We’ve been working with Arc for a few years and we have entrusted them with several projects. That speaks for itself.
David Shanks, Brand Guardian, Glasgow Housing Association

As a small charity Ownership Options has to spend its time and its money wisely. Deciding to commission a film from Arc was one of the best decisions I have ever made. The film has been very well received and has explained our mission and promoted our activities in ways that have far exceeded our expectations.
Moira Bayne, Director, Ownership Options
